The big screen in the living room
Install apps from your phone, cast photos and videos, send links, watch your home cameras with sound. Notifications arriving on your phone appear in the corner of the TV; the phone and computer become the TV's remote.
Features
The app has three main jobs: moving files, backing up, and being a camera. Alongside them comes a toolbox that runs on the device.
Security camera
- Be a Camera Turns a phone you no longer use into a camera. No account needed; just open the app and press the button.
- Live viewing Video and audio from another phone. Connects from outside the home too.
- Motion detection Records and sends a notification when there is movement in the frame; tells people apart from other movement.
- Pre-buffer recording Also records the seconds before the motion, so you never miss the start of an event.
- Push-to-talk Speak into the room you're watching, from your phone.
- Viewing PIN Nobody who doesn't know the six-digit code can open the stream. Devices that entered the code are listed, and you can remove any of them one by one.
- Lens, flash and zoom Control the camera from a phone far away; take photos too.
- Motion alerts with a photo When there is motion, the notification arrives with a photo. The photo travels encrypted and is deleted from the server the moment your phone downloads it.
- Multiple cameras Watch several cameras on a single screen. Up to 10 cameras per account.
- Dark camera screen While streaming, the camera phone's screen stays pitch black; no logo, no code is visible.
Files and backup
- Gallery backup Your photos and videos are copied straight to your computer over Wi-Fi, without passing through the cloud.
- Automatic backup Newly taken photos, videos and screenshots go on their own. It can be set to work on Wi-Fi only; you can see when the last backup ran and how many files were sent on the settings screen.
- My Computer Browse your computer's folders from your phone and download files. Directly on the same network, over the internet from another network. No size limit; you see the progress and can cancel if you want. Preview, delete and rename work remotely too.
- My Phone The same thing in reverse: browse your phone's folders from the computer, open photos and videos on the computer.
- Send File Send files, folders or contact cards to a nearby phone without internet; the two phones connect directly over Wi-Fi Direct. Speed and remaining time are shown, an interrupted transfer resumes where it left off, and sent and received items stay in the history.
- Send and receive clipboard Send text you copied on the phone to the computer, and pull the computer's clipboard to the phone.
TV
- Send APK Send an app file from your phone to the TV; the install prompt appears on the TV.
- Gallery casting Open a photo or video on the TV screen; the file doesn't stay on the TV.
- Live gallery As you swipe on the phone, the photo on the TV changes instantly.
- Send link Open the address on your clipboard in the TV's browser, without typing it letter by letter with the remote.
- Notification mirroring Phone notifications appear in the corner of the TV. You choose which apps are shown; the ones you missed stay in the TV's notification history.
- Screen cursor The remote's direction keys turn into a cursor, so buttons that require touch become usable.
- Remote control Control the TV from your phone and computer: volume up and down, play/pause, direction keys, back and home, launching apps.
- Camera viewing on the TV Watch your home cameras with sound on the TV; audio, zoom and lens are controlled from the TV.
- Screensaver When the TV is idle, it shows photos from your gallery; it goes away when you touch the remote.
On the computer
- Notifications Notifications arriving on your phone are listed on the computer like a chat; if the app allows it, you can reply from there. Quick replies, dismissing notifications, muting per app and history are all included.
- Incoming files and clipboard Everything sent from the phone collects in a single list.
- Camera viewing Watch DEK cameras from the computer: several cameras in a single grid, with separate audio, flash, zoom, recording and full screen for each. The camera phone's battery level is shown.
- Motion recording on the computer When there is motion on open cameras, the computer records to its own disk.
- TV remote Volume, media and direction keys work from the computer too; on the same network, you can launch the TV's apps from here.
Security
- Files are encrypted on your device Your backups and the files you transfer are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they leave your device. Even the file name travels encrypted.
- The key is not on the server The encryption key passes from one screen to the other by scanning a QR code during pairing. It never goes through the server and is never stored there.
- Camera stream is encrypted Video and audio are encrypted with DTLS-SRTP. The keys are generated only on the two devices; the relay server in between forwards the encrypted packet and cannot open its contents.
- Encrypted on the local network too Even on the same Wi-Fi, files, commands and photos taken by the camera travel encrypted; the viewing PIN never goes out onto the network. Anyone listening in on the network sees nothing.
- Files in the cloud wait, they don't stay A backup waiting in the cloud while your computer is off is encrypted; it is deleted once the computer downloads it, and if it isn't downloaded, it goes away on its own after 7 days.
- Clipboard and notifications are sealed Notifications and clipboard text going to your computer travel inside an encrypted envelope. Neither the notification service nor the server sees inside the envelope.
- Vault Encrypted on the device with a key derived from your PIN, never uploaded to the cloud.
- App lock Lock the app with a PIN or your fingerprint.
Toolbox
- Converter Photo conversion and compression, extracting audio from video, creating ZIP files, viewing PDFs, scanned documents, reading text from photos, link shortening.
- Kaban Iz File inspection tools: a photo's EXIF data, APK and file summary, hash calculation, QR code reading and generation, network and domain lookup, phishing check.
- Vault Encrypts and hides files on the device; opens with a PIN and a recovery code, never uploaded to the cloud.
Most of the tools and the camera functions run inside the device; files are not sent to the server. The interface is available in 17 languages.
Works without an account too
Being a camera and watching cameras, sending files from phone to phone, the toolbox and the Vault don't require an account. We ask for your email for only four things: pairing a computer and a TV, backup, file access from outside the home, and the clipboard. No phone number, username or profile photo is requested.

Install the app on your devices
On the phone from the Play Store, on the computer the Windows installer, on the TV the same app.
Scan the QR code
A QR code appears on your computer's and TV's screen. Scan it with your phone and the pairing is set up.
Start using it
On the same network, the devices talk to each other directly. Away from home, the connection is made over the internet.
Our server can't open your files or your camera feed
We offer this not as a promise but as a design decision. Your backups, the files you transfer, your clipboard, your notifications and your motion photos are encrypted before they leave your device; the key that decrypts them is shared between your devices via QR code and never touches the server. In the camera stream, the key is generated between the two devices for every session. A file waiting in the cloud is deleted once downloaded, and if it isn't downloaded, it goes away on its own in 7 days. Since we don't hold the key, it is not possible for us to open the content.
Let's be clear: there are also things that sit unencrypted on the server. Information such as your account's email address, the names of your devices and the times of motion events is readable — the system doesn't work without them. We've written out, item by item, which piece of information lives where in the privacy policy.
